About Gyasi

Gyasi (pronounced “Jah-See”) has clearly made it his life’s mission to revive the flamboyant, technicolor spirit of 1970s glam rock—complete with all the signature sounds that go with it. With incendiary guitar work, extravagant style, and boundless stage energy, this American artist crafts a world where rock music

rediscovers its flair for spectacle and excess.

Originally from West Virginia and now based in Nashville, this androgynous performer draws inspiration from the glam rock of David Bowie and Marc Bolan, as well as hard rock, psychedelia, and the blues. With four albums and numerous international performances under his belt, Gyasi proves himself to be both a gifted songwriter and a formidable guitarist, possessing a uniquely freespirited and singular personality.
